RUGBY FOOTBALL

Given the topic rugby to research about, I found this rather plane and boring. I have now changed the topic to rugby football history. It is believed that rugby was born in a time when William Webb Ellis first took the ball in his hands and ran with it during a football match. This originated the distinctive picture of a rugby game.

The international committee later named the rugby world cup the “William Webb Ellis trophy”
Rugby school for example had developed Rugby football from football and played this game according to Rugby rules.

How ever these are statiscics from ancient rules and times; Rugby has now prooved to be a fun filled game and like football it's taking over the worlsd of sports. World cup levels and leagues seven a side and even the smallest of event are now crowed pullers and fun sports to watch. Wales particularly is a home of Rugby. The millenium stadium which boasts a UEFA 5 star rating has hosted matches from two Rugby world cup including the final in 1999, witnessed two Wales grand slams in the RBS six nations.

This is a modern Rugby match underway always filled with songs and drinks and chanting and great fun! I have fantastic memories of watching my country's Rugby team fighting their tittle in events held in Twickenham London; it is always a day to look forward to.

Abertawe! My Uni...

This is what i' am doing today; creating my own blogging space. This is new to me, my first blog! This is going to be good fun # guilty, as I am great with IT, but all ready sleeves rolled up ready to dive in and learn more. I'm returning to study as a mature student after many years! to pursue my dream of becoming a teacher. Juggling family life and everything in between study is going to be challenging. I like challenges so study bring it on... Swansea is a  lovely and very family oriented city to live in. Nice cultured city by the sea. I moved here with the main target to find peace and concentrate on my studies, I love it. The local people are friendly and welcoming. I will have a ball of time in the next three years... maybe four; if i am one of the four. My course Education studies has a high  number of students this year; so high that statistically only one in four people will find place in the PGCE course a further year of study after the degree course!. Looking forward to this. My aim is it to give it my best shot! i hope to succeed and be a teacher one day.
